Armchair BEA Introduction Post! Let the party get started!!

Design credit: Nina @ Nina Reads
Hello there!! Awww, I am so super excited about this!! Armchair BEA - this is so awesome!
You know, coming from Europe, I haven't actually thought I would ever go to BEA, but hell this year after seeing all this excitment from everybody, I really wish could go one day :) So this Armchair BEA is so really cool ;)

So, introduction post :D YEAH, bring it on! lol

Q: Please tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? Why did you get into blogging?
Hi! I'm Nea and I am a student of Psychology :) I'm in my last year of University and I've been accepted at the University of Edinburgh for the Master of Psychology of Individual Differences, so hopefully in 3 months I'll be living in Scotland!! I have my international English exam in 10 days and I am so so nervous about it!! I've been reading a LOT in the past year and after 100 books read in English.. I should have learned something, right? Um, I am a world traveler! Well, actually a Europe traveler :P I travel a lot and I love it! Meeting funny new people around Europe from Couchsurfing and Hostels. It's priceless. SO. I moved to London last Summer for 3 months. There I re-discovered my love for novels. I started reading A LOT. Books became my addiction. I started blogging in March 2011. But it wasn't a book blog at that time. I wanted to share my reports and researches for other students of Psychology. Because I thought it was a waste for them to be read just by me and my professors. I've started book blogging in September 2011. WHY? Oh well, I discovered Anna Reads's blog back in Winter 2011 and I loved it. And then in September I discovered Top Ten Tuesday and I loved it!! I love lists and the topics were so fascinating and I wanted to do them, too. So I started my book blog. And then I discovered all the awesome blogs around the blogosphere and most of all, all the awesome people behind their blogs. I will always be grateful, because my life wouldn't be the same if I didn't meet Mimi, Nick, Sam, CarinaRoro, Sarah, Kristin, Jennifer, Asher, Missie and SO MANY others :) I would like to thank you! I don't think you realise how awesome you are! You make my world better! And I love you <3

I've discovered so so many awesome series and books thanks to blogging. I was obsessed with Vampire Academy and I thought I would never find another awesome serie like this. I was wrong. It's still my favourite, but I discover so many others that I keep close to my heart. Which leads me...

Q: Have your reading tastes changed since you started blogging? How?
Well, I am a romance girl :P Not in real life of course, but I love reading about it <3 I was really into Vampires. I started reading again when Twilight came out. I was obsessed with it. lol. I know many people don't like it.. But I really liked it at that time. Then I discovered Vampire Academy and I completely and uterly fell in love with it. And then started checking Anna Reads's blog and I picked up some other books and I was fully introduced to Young Adult books. Thank goddess. Or I should say THANK YOU ANNA!! You changed my life. Sounds a bit dramatic, but really it isn't :) I think I wouldn't have started reading so much if it wasn't for her. And also.. I've been reading around the internet about this Jace. And I was like, WHO IS JACE? Oh my god!! Little did I know. I became obsessed with The Mortal Instruments as well :P And the Iron Fey. And Hex Hall. And Shade. And The Infernal Devices. And OMG my new BIBLE = Obsidian <3 <3 I'm completely in love with Daemon!! First I was kind of obsessed with Edward and I said "I'll find my Edward" and when I kind of found it.. I figured this wasn't for me. I need someone who step up with me, and not just stare at me and nod all the time. lol. And then I met Daemon. And realisation dawned. It was like lightening. I KNEW this was the kind of guy I wanted. A sarcastic, sexy guy who doesn't put up with my shit :P And my new slogan in life became "I'll find my Daemon".*

Q: What are you currently reading, or what is your favorite book you have read so far in 2012?
Hmm, I am currently reading Shine by Jeri Smith-Ready. And oh god, I really need to study and instead of studying I just keep reading. I should really put myself together. But it's just so damn difficult!! My favourite book so far this year? Uh huh, I am so going to cheat this one! My favourite books so far this year are Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Kill me Softly by Sarah Cross, Saving June by Hannah Harrington, The Fault in Our Stars by John Green, Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson, The Statistical Probabiliy of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith, and Hallowed by Cynthia Hand.

Q: Which is your favorite post that you have written that you want everyone to read?
Hmm. Tricky question. Bookish related or life related? I'll stick with both :) Bookish related - the ones I enjoy most writing about - it's a meme hosted at Missie's blog The Unread Reader - My Book Boyfriend. I LOVE writing about my fictional crushes and I love reading about other girls crushes!! My TBR pile became HUGE when I discovered this meme. What can I say? Fictional guys are hot. And the my not bookish related, favourite post is The Feminists Ruined the Women's World, or the Reason Why I Hate Interpersonal Relations Today - It's quite expressive, and it's based on Antropological and Psychological knowledge ;)

Q: If you could eat dinner with any author or character, who would it be and why?
Oh, definitely Rose Hathaway from Vampire Academy Serie! Because she is a badass, explosive, sarcastic, strong, awesome, beautiful, is a kick ass and a loyal friend. She is amazing. And I would thank her, for reminded me who I really was/am. She woke up the Rose Hathaway in me, that I somehow forgot about, because I was in a difficult period in my life. Rose reminded me that I need to fight for what is right and never give up, no matter what. But most of all, she reminded me of my attitude and that all the people that wants me harm, can screw themselfs and go to hell. ;) Rose you rock!

Q: What literary location would you most like to visit? Why?
Hmm. I can't decide. I would LOVE to go to Fairy Land, like Nevernever or any other fairy world. I just love fairies :) And the glamour!! But lots of Fairies are mean.. so uh huh. I dunno :P AND I would LOVE to visit Idris, the City of Glass. It was so fascinating reading about it <3 I really wish I could picture it in my mind like perfection. It must be so so beautiful. <3

As for, where do you see my blog in five years, hmm, I dunno. I think and hope it will still be on. I just love blogging and honestly, I really can't imagine my life now without my blog. It's like my baby. I don't think I'll be ever able to leave it. Um, no. Not ever.

Oh my, this was so super fun!! I really enjoyed answering these questions! It reminded me why I love blogging so much <3 And why I love this community so much, too! :)

For those of you who are attending BEA, I wish you an awesome, fantastic week! And for those of you who are attending Armchair BEA, I wish you all the best and I hope you'll meet some awesome, amazing people around the blogosphere! And most of all, that you'll have fun! Lots of it! :) <3

* Uh huh, for my Daemon - it's not required, that he has to be an alien ;)
