Haha and I was like "Um, well, I guess so :P" and he told me about some friend of his from England and what happened to him.
"He was flirting with a girl in a club. And above there was a terrace for smokers and downstairs was the toilet. The girl went for a cigarette. After finishing she went to the toilet. He was searching for her. So he went upstairs to check for her. She was searching for him too. And then she heard him upstairs and she went up to the stairs. He saw her too and he started walking down the stairs. And then.. there was a bottle on the a stair and he slipped and fell. In the process he kicked the girl and she broke her nose. And then the bodyguards of the club went to him all like "what's wrong with you? You hits women? We will kill you!" and he was all like "No no no, it was an accident!!" and then the girl with the broken nose said it was it was an accident and it was somehow ok. The ambulance took her to the hospital. And then his friends arrived to the guy and said "Oww! Do you know your girl has got in some fight and she   was taken to the hospital?"
hahahahahahahaahaha. Actually it's tragic, but hell, it's hilarious!! :D :D I actually cried from all the laughing :D

I passed my last exam aka Anthropology NO MORE

Oh. This was tough. Really tough.

tumblr_lwughqUPjv1qza0fjo1_500_thumb

Yesterday I made the decision of never going to do this exam again. God, I was so sick. Really sick. And while throwing up in the toilet, I decided that, if there are some supernatural or spiritual things in this world, I needed to pass this exam. Because seriously, haven’t I had enough of stress, sickness, and worry? It felt enough for me.

So, at 6pm I went there. There was a HUGE crowd of people waiting as well. OH. And the atmosphere was choking me. Literally. God, I was so nervous. And then.. the professor arrived. And she started calling names – with the tests in her hands. My name was one of the first she called. And I was like “MEE!” And everyone stared lol. I was quite loud. I got my test and went out of the crowd. I didn’t dare look at it. I was so scared, and I was like GOD PLEASE.
And then..
usagiimages-0001

And then I feel on the floor and I started crying. HARD.

anime-blonde-crying-girl-sailor-moon-Favim.com-234740
And I couldn’t stop.

tumblr_lq39nbz75l1qb26le

OMG, I couldn’t believe it. Well, after 15 hours – I still can’t. OMG, I PASSED. I did it. NO oral. NO more stress. NO more crying. NO more feeling sick. NO more studying the same thing over and over again. OMG. I did it.

I went inside her cabinet first when she finished calling names. And I was shaking. And still crying. And she was like “Yes?” And I was like giving her my test and my Index with shaking hands and I said: “I passed". She checked everything and ah my grade was written in my Index. I got 9. OMG freaking 9 out of 10. I was shocked. I freaking rock :D

20120619114429797

And then I went out of the University. Actually, I was running and when I crossed the entrance I started screaming “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I PASSED!” Everyone was staring lol and I SO didn’t care.

My parents were so happy. My sister was ecstatic. My friends were so so proud and happy. And I was well, still crying lol. I was so so happy. And my last exam is over. I just have my degree to write down and it’s over. It’s so fucking OVER. Ah. Bittersweet feeling. But really, there are no words in the world to describe how relived and happy and proud I am. Best feeling ever.
And then we went partying :D :D

nea nardila godino
Božo, me, and his friend.

The beer felt amazing. And my best friend is the best friend ever. It was amazing. I was in some kind of trance, I still couldn’t believe I really passed.
Ah. I’m happy.

The importance of Post-it notes in my life

lala 053

Post-it sticky notes are really important in my life. How so you’ll ask. Well, I love to remember dates. As in a date of an awesome party, a date of my first kiss, a date of some random beautiful thing that happened to me. And I also love Post-its for all the amazing quotes I find every once in a while and I want to conserve it in a special place.

I don’t even remember how this idea started. Um, not really. I remember I was at home on my computer and I’ve put a note on the wall. Sometime later I’ve put another one. Then after I dunno how much time I’ve put something else on the wall. And so on and so on – and my wall was colorful and full of my favourite moments and beautiful things.

When I started University, of course, I needed to move. And I’ve taken my Post-it notes with me. And in the student campus, I’ve made my wall again. Everyday my Post-it little space became bigger. And I loved it!
Slika_236

When I went to my Erasmus I did the same. It was like I’ve been taking my favourite moments in life all the way with me, wherever I went. I think people didn’t understand why I needed my wall, but I did. So much.

When I came back from my Erasmus and I came back to Maribor, I didn’t put my Post-its on the wall in my new student campus. There wasn’t enough room, I think. But after a year, before I left my wall was once again full of Post-its.
DSC06938

And this year in my yet another room in the student campus, I made my wall again. And I love it. The room feels more like mine when I do so. Because sometimes, you need something to reminds you of important life lessons that you’ve learned on the way.

IMG_20120531_225133IMG_20120531_225142

And also. I’ve read this article on the internet – How to write an effective ad on a Post-it note and I’ve learned some things. I’ve started studying through Post-it notes. I’ve put the knowledge of a whole book onto Post-its. I’ve put them on the window up to my desk, so I can always see them, even if I don’t read them. Something to do with unconscious learning. Don’t know if it really works, but a girl can dream, right?
IMG_20120531_225120
I really hope that I will pass my exam on Monday, or that I’ve already passed my written one. This so totally sucks. I can’t wait for it to be over.

Anyway, it was nice to share my, um, way of living with you!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend ;)

Blogspiration #17

Blogspiration is a Brand Spankin' New weekly meme hosted by both GrowingUp YA and Saz101. The meme was created to help spark inspiration among bloggers, readers and writers alike. An inspirational quote/picture/video is posted weekly, on the day of the author's choosing, so that it may inspire creativity, conversation, and just a little SOMETHING.

I've seen this beautiful quote and I decided to share it with you. I feel really strongly about it. And when I saw I said, “Wow, this is perfect for my blogspiration!”
the moment

This happens to me all the time. I mean, I tend to read books while I am in bars or outside on the grass in a park. And I am so absorbed by the book that I completely forget about the world around me. I don’t hear any music, any chit-chat of people who are sitting on the table beside me. It’s just me and the story.

And then, usually, in the book happens something and I am completely shocked or thrown away by it, and I look around and see that people still carry on with their chat like nothing happened when my world is completely crashed, or it has just shattered.
It feels, well, awkward and amazing at the same time :P

Does it happen to you, too? And what’s your blogspiration this week? :)

Jaw Dropping News about #DaemonInvasion

My lovely followers, these are some news. OMG. As a leader of the Elite Street Team No Shirt I ought to share this. Who am I kidding? Even if I wasn’t the leader or a team member or whatever I would have shared this.
Because when I saw it, my jaw has literally hit the floor. My mouth became all dry and my heartbeat was accelerating and my breath intake was so sudden that when the air had hit my brain cells, all my mental functions went off. And I was staring with my mouth open for a few seconds.

Are you ready?

Au9LDOxCAAAakir
And now tell me, all those things didn’t happen to you when you saw this pic? Don’t even bother :P I won’t believe you if you tell me they didn’t :P lol

Awww, this guy really is a perfect Daemon. And this scene, I have a great feeling, will be exactly like the scene in the book. OMG I can’t wait!

But this isn’t all!! There are also other pics from the event and pic from the trailers making!! ;) Enjoy the view ;)

Armchair BEA Wrap-Up

Design by Nina @ Nina Reads.
Oh, Armchair BEA awesome event is over. A little sad about it!

This event was absolutely amazing. I had an awesome time :) First day with the introduction post was beyond awesome. I've met so many great book bloggers and it felt good. It was also great, because it has gave us a chance to know other bloggers better, as in, not only which books they like more and which less, but also their life expericences, their hobbies and fun stuff like that :)

I've also learned a lot while this event about blogging :) I've read some great tips and I had a chance to ask, things I wanted to ask since, well, forever :P So thank you to all of you for helping me fogure things out :) I really appreciate it! <3

And, OMG, the twitter parties? Beyond awesome. I overslept the first one, but the other two were amazing  :) 2 hours passed in a blink of an eye. It was incredible! They were my first twitter parties ever and OMG I didn't know it was such a party! :D Looking forward to other parties like that!

Armchair BEA was a great experience and I'm looking forward participating next year as well! I've won 2 prizes :) One at the twitter party and one in the last day of the event! So, thank you so much! And a big thank you to the people behind Armchair BEA event, you guys are completely and uterly awesome! :)

Have you enjoyed ArmchairBEA? Will I see you next year? :)

Armchair BEA Ask The Experts and Share some Tips

Design by Nina @ Nina Reads.
So, some tips for bloggers, that I've learned during my time blogging. :)

Meme - memes are awesome way of interacting with other bloggers :) And they are fun! And on every meme on every blog there is something you can say about it - so it's easier to comment! Like Top10 Tuesday, every week a different topic and it's easy to interact :) Also, I love the My Book Boyfriend meme, because therefor I always know about sexy, awesome, amazing guys in the literature out there! And my TBR pile is a hell lot bigger since I've discovered this amazing meme! Waiting on Wednesday is also awesome so we can gush together for book we would kill for :P

Comment, comment, comment :) I comment a lot, especially on memes. And usually some do come to comment back. I'll be honest - not all of them come back - but 1/3 does. And I do check upon them also the next and next week on the same meme. They normally come back to you, too :)

Twitter - twitter is an amazing way of interacting with other bloggers :) And it's awesome because it can happen in an istant, you don't need to wait or search for the answer to your question - because they respond to you directly :) And the chit chat about books on twitter is super funny :) I really like it! And twitter is also very handy for sharing/promoting your posts :) And of course, for checking other posts of other bloggers, too! :)

Be yourself and stay true to yourself. This sounds so cheesy - but really it's not. I remember reading other blogs about how to improve your blog and gain more followers and how you need to be, how your blog name should be simple and original for people to remember and the style of writing and I don't know what else. I think it's bullshit. I mean, maybe it has worked for them, but for me it's definitely not working - I don't want to turn my blog in a product of capitalism, just because of the sake of it. I want my blog to be true to me, and me true to him. Because this is why I blog - and actually people told me that my blog is exactly like me - the colours, the way of posting, the fullness of my sidebar lol. I don't want to change myself and therefor I won't ever want to change my blog, so that it will be more something.

Post about what you like. It's always easy to talk about things you feel really strong about :) About what you like :) And it will feel truer ;)

Don't be afraid of negative reviews. If you didn't like the book, it's ok. I mean, statistically looking - SO MANY books that we read - there must be a 5% or 10 % that we don't like. It's statistic. It's the Gaussian curve ;) So really, don't be afraid. Be fair and be honest with the review, and write down why didn't you like it. My negative reviews are actually a bit longer than the positive ones :P

Don't give up on your blog. You know, there are days when you feel like that noone read what you actually write or comment and stuff like that.. And it turns you down a bit. On those days, always remember, that in the end of the day, you are writing for you! You want to share knowledge, hopes, experiences and you want to do this, because somehow, you feel better, if you share with others :) It's your hobbie, and you love it, no matter what!

Hmm.. questions. So, experts :D
How does it happen to have your review cit. in a published book? You know, where there are always comments about the book and underneath there is your blog name :) Once in a lifetime, I want this to happen to me :P I think I would die :D haha. No, but really, how does it happen? Is there a site where you post it? Net galley? Your blog? I'm really curious! And also, how you get to participate in book blog tours? I haven't figured it out yet :P

Thank you, to all of you, for this amazing #ArmchairBEA week!! It was one of the best weeks ever! And it's also one of the best blogger experiences I've had till now. You guys rock! And I will participate next year for sure!! And last night Twitter party was absolutely amazing!! I had an awesome in incredible time with all of you!

Armchair BEA Beyond The Blog

Desing by Nina @ Nina Reads.
So, today's topic is Beyond your blog.

Well, well, beyond my blog is just.. lots of work. And no money from it :P Reading some post, I have some mixed feelings about this. I mean, in a way I think why would people pay me for my blog? On the other way I think, hell, I work at least a minimum of 2 hours a day on my blog, and sometimes it feels like work - work that I love doing! Would be cool to be paid for it :)

Ads and stuff like that. Well, I am a Book Depository affilate. It doesn't bring me any money, though. But I like being an affilate, because I can jump directly from my blog to the site of Book Depository. :)

The Google ads and some other ads.. I see the around and I think, good god, they are so ugly!! Couldn't people who make them, I dunno, do them more pretty?! That's why I've never even considered having them on my blog.

Well, the reason I decided to have a blog was initially to share my reports from my University. I thought it was a waste, that I worked so hard for them, and then it was just me and the professors who actually read them. And I also wanted to have some different opinions about various reports, and I dunno, share the experiences or stuff like that, from other students of Psychology. Or at least a "thank you", because I am the only student of psychology in Slovenia who actually share her reports online. I wrote that in the end of every post. My reports have been posted since a year now.

Do you how many people actually made a comment sharing their opinion or a simple thank you? ONE. It happened a month ago. I was in shock!! Wow. Really. There are still some moral and fair people in my country. - Becuase THIS is what I wanted for my "payment" - just someone thanking me for my help, because I damn well remember while I was making those reports. It was awful and complicated and annying and oh. Sometimes I think I should just close down all of them, but then I remember why I share them in the first place and I stop thinking about it. What it annoys me the most is, does these stupid psychology students from my country, not know how easily is to check statistics?! It's like they think I don't know how much time they spend on my blog. Or who, for the matter.

So yeah, my blog really doesn't gain any money. Thank god for the book bloggers community, which is the most supportive and awesome community ever! Thank you for all the comments, for all the sweet words that always cheer me up, and for the amazing support you show me every day! This is all the payment I've ever really wished for ;) You guys are awesome <3

So, any good tips for how to make a little money with your favourite pass time? :P ;) I hope you're enjoying aBEA! :) I know I am, because it's freaking awesome! See you at the Twitter party tonight!! :)

Cover Reveal: Finale

OMG OMG OMG I just saw this on Goodreads and holy cow, WOW. The cover of the last book in the Hush, Hush serie by Becca Fitzpatrick is out! And I think it's kind of beautiful. It does inspire some hope for Nora and Patch <3
Nora is more certain than ever that she is in love with Patch. Fallen angel or no, he is the one for her. Her heritage and destiny may mean that they will always be enemies, but there is no turning her back on him. But now they face their biggest challenge. Can their love survive a seemingly insurmountable divide. And in the end, will there be enough trust left to rebuild what has been broken? The lines are drawn - but which sides are they on?

Can't wait for October 23rd 2012 to come around! This finale will be epic, I can feel it!

What do you think of the cover? :)

Armchair BEA Let's talk networking.. or try to :)

Design by Nina @ Nina Reads.
Networking, how so? :P
Well, actually, I am thinking about it and I came up with nothing. Which is pretty boring. I mean, I live in Slovenia where there is no book club, rare book bloggers and full of people how doesn't read at all. And if they do read.. when I talk about books they don't even know waht I am talking about, because the book will be probably avaliable in my country in the span of 2 years - translation and stuff takes time. For example The Hunger Games came out here in Slovenia earlier this year I think. Yeah, my country rocks! Um, well, actually it does, but just not from this point of view.

So, yeah, I haven't been on any signing ever. I haven't met any book blogger in person, yet. I am a little, um, without "real" life experieces.

BUT. I know for certain that a lot of Slovenian people check my blog regulary - they told me so :P They are very supportive <3 :) And I see from time to time, that people actually ask me about some books that they saw on my blog, and then I get this amazing feeling that I am doing something incredible. And I love it!! :) :) I've actually inspired some people to start reading! + then I have someone in real life to discuss the book with!! It's awesome! :P ;)

Plus, most of the time I discuss books with my Mom. We aren't reading the same books, currently, but when she tells me to read a book or a serie, I usually do. And I always like it! And then we discuss about it and it's awesome :) We don't argue at all, while discussing books, lol.

And also me and Mimi have this trip planned - to go on a Eurotrip - in two years!! I really hope we will make it somehow :)

And I've participate twice now, to the Dewey's 24-hours-read-a-thon and I think these were one of the best experiences in my life!! People around the world together but somehow apart and reading for 24 hours. A big twitter party. And awesome tasks to fulfill in the end of every hour! :) :) Can't wait for the next one in October 2012! People at this even are always amazing and incredible and funny and great! :) ;)

And there is another thing, I kind of figured that since I am reading that much, I also pay more attention to people around me in bars or busses and if and what they are reading. Lots of times I start to chat with them about books and it's a good feeling :)

And most of all, I love this #ArmchairBEA event!! It's amazing <3 I've been checking blogs and twitter till 4AM in the morning. I went to sleep for 3 hours and damn, I got the converter time wrong and I woke up just as the BEA Twitter Party finished. God, I was so pissed off. 3 hours of sleep and I missed the party?! Duh. Thank god, for the second one, I am more prepared. It's today at 7PM my time. I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Dear Readers, I hope you're enjoying #ArmchairBEA and that you're having an awesome it! :) ;) See you later on the Twitter Party!!

Top Ten Dynamic Duos

It's Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic freeby. So I picked up this:
Top 10 Dynamic Duos

1. Rose and Dimitri, Vampire Academy
I just LOVE these two!! They understand each other perfectly. One glance and they know. Amazing.

2. Sophie and Archer, Hex Hall
These two are also so awesome. They are just perfect together! If it's a fight or love for each other <3

3. Jem and Will, Clockwork Angel
I so love these two! They are like brothers <3 And it has saddened me, that there is a love triangle in the second book and I needed to pick one side. Sorry Jem :P I wish their relationship will continue, no matter Tessa.

4. Anna and Etienne, Anna and the French Kiss
Ok, let's admit it, even as just friends - they were amazing. I wish I had a friend like Etienne!! They were just so comfortable with each other :) It was so sweet <3

5. Katniss and Gale, The Hunger Games
These two were woow. I mean, don't get me wrong, I am team Peeta all the way, but I really liked the relationship Katniss and Gale shared before all the chaos broke loose. They were so effective together and they protected each other :)

6. Clary and Simon, City of Bones
Apart from the romance (Team Jace <3 all the waaaay), these two are awesome. While reading you can actually feel all the adventures they faced together their whole life and the deep connection they share.

7. Harper and Laney, Saving June
Aww, these two!! OMG, this is what you call best friends. They fit together perfectly. Like a puzzle. And I loved it!

8. Alice and Jasper Cullen, Twilight
A girl who can see the future and a guy who can sense emotions together? Perfection! And they are both so cute.

9. Abby and America, Beautiful Disaster
These two, too, are the best best friends ever. All that they are willing to sacrifice for each other. And one look and they both understand the situation perfectly well. Love it!

10. Dee and Daemon, Obsidian
Brother and sister. Yeah, they have some small fights, but I really like them together. They share a really deep bond and the love each other so much.

And because this is mine Top [..] Tuesday, I decided to post something I've learned a lot from when I was little (it's not a duo, tough :P). I am proud to say, I am a Sailor Moon generation! This cartoon had taught me to understand that in life I need to be good and to do good. To protect those who cannot protect themselfs. That evil exist, but we can defeat it. That friendship is one of the most important things that exist. And that we always need to hope because the the greater good will always win! Thank you Bunny*

What's your Top 10 this week? :) Leave me your link in the comments so I can check it out! :)
