What’s the worst thing about wanting a sexy NFL football player? Everyone else wants him, too.

After catching my boyfriend getting deep-throated by a skanky cage girl, I’ve learned my lesson – never date a professional athlete. Never. Besides, I have more important things to worry about, like not blowing my shot to make it as a broadcast reporter. I won’t let anything get in my way, not even the new “it boy” of the NFL and my hot-as-hell neighbour.

What's the worst thing about getting death glares from his new neighbour? It doesn't make him want her any less.

I’ve worked my ass off to make it to the pros. The last thing I need is the complication of a relationship, especially since my last one was a total train wreck. But I can’t stop thinking about the feisty girl next door with the smart mouth. And I’d love nothing more than to show her what to do with that mouth.

Friends with benefits might be the best idea he’s ever had. Or the worst.

Aww, we meet both characters in the first book of the series Dearest Clementine. Madeline was the character I was really waiting for - cause she is just super cool.

So, Madeline. She is a reporter. She goes to college and works at the same time. She is really decided to her job which I liked a lot. She just caught her boyfriend cheating on her at beginning of the book, so she obviously decides not to move in with him, and moves to her friend's flat instead. That's when she finds out her sexy neighbour is Daren. The Daren. And she has to cover his sport footage for the whole semester!

Daren. We see Daren in a complete new light in this instalment. I mean everyone deserves a second chance, right? This is Daren's second chance. I really liked him. He was way more deep that I gave him credits to be. He was a good guy.

Their interactions were great! Maddie at the beginning was trying to resist the chemistry between them, but yeah didn't last long. They were great together. The romance was good. The sexy scenes were good too. And I should say at this point, the things that happened in this book were completely unpredictable. I didn't see it coming.

Overall, I loved this book. I highly suggest you to give Kissing Madeline a try, or to give the whole series a try. It's so good. New Adult Contemporary Romance novels rock! I'll let you decide.
