The scorching tale of one
girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not.
Olivia
Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college
so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined
not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting
her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple.
Black and white.
But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.
Cash is
everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who
wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just
one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her.
Nash is
everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and
intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa,
Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time
he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can
never be together.
Black and
white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding
something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can.
But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of
them.
Both brothers make her
heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire.
She wants
them both.
And they
want her.
How will
she ever choose between them?

Wow, M.
Leighton you freaking rock!
This book, wow, this book was completely awesome!! It's full of emotions,
insecurities, passion and hot boys :)
Olivia. Olivia is a good girl and an awesome narrator. She is
so honest and nice. And sexy and cute. And sometimes she is so clumsy with
words and she get herself in the most embarrassing situations, which make her
even more hilarious. And her fears toward bad boys.. well, it wasn't difficult
to relate to that. Though, I still want a bad boy :P
Cash.
Awwww, this guy!! I want him. I'm really not kidding when I say I have
something for bad boys. I think it has something to do with the passion and
being reckless. And Olivia, although she fought it, she was destinated to fall
for him. Why even fight it? :P
The story
is told from Olivia's, Cash's and Nash's point of view. And for the first time,
it actually didn't bother me. I loved to know what all of them were feeling and
thinking. The story run smooth and that's what I loved most! It didn't run
backward and then forward, but just forward and it was awesome.
When I lift my head, my eyes meet hers and in them, whether she would ever admit it or not, is desire. Lots of hot, swaty, pin-me-up-against-the-wall desire.
The battery.
"You are such a piece of shit," I yell into the quiet cab, slapping the horn accidentally. It makes a sound like a wounded duck. "Don't you talk back to me! You're this close to going to car heaven at the junk yard."
Yes, it makes me feel a tiny better to get rid of some of my frustration, even if it means sitting outside a pub, yelling at an inanimate object. A very inanimate at the moment.
