Spring Fever: Top Ten Books I’d Play Hooky With

It's Top 10 Tuesday (hosted at The Broke and the Bookish) and the topic is Spring Fever: Top Ten Books I’d Play Hooky With, which thanks to Nina @ Nina Reads I now know what this means :P “play hooky = fake being sick so you can stay home and read that book :)”

Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer
I'll start from the beginning. The first book I've ever read and turn off the phone while doing so. After the catastrophic reading od New Moon while hanging out with friends at the bar (I couldn't stop reading) and I was reading the famous "scene", they were SO annoying I couldn't even cry at the forest scene. Such a shame. And I said "never ever again". So when I started reading Eclipse, I turned off the phone :P Way better!!

Blood Promise by Richelle Mead
I needed to was 3 whole days after reading Shadow Kiss to recive this book. Believe it or not, I was in phisical pain!! At the store they said it will come in a day or two. With my luck I thought it will take two days, but still I went there to check the first day. When I saw it in the hands of the that nice worker, my hands started trembeling and I started to jump and God, I was crying so hard. She was stunned. I was beyond happy! So I paid the book and went into the bar and turn off the phone and started reading. I've been in the bar for 12 hours, I think. Then the closed it and I headed home and read till the morning. I haven't eat that day. I was too nervous for that :P It was one of the best experiences ever while reading a book

Last Sacrifice by Richelle Mead
After 3 whole months passed while I waited for the book, I finally got it! The day before Christmas. I didn't care. So after making the Christmas tree with my family I said I couldn't take it anymore and went in the bar to read. I was so happy :) I didn't speak with anyone until I finished it :P And it was amazing ♥ while also sad, because I knew it was the end.

City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
Oh my, there was no chance in the world that someone was gonna bother me while reading this book. Everyone was asleep and I was reading. I was so excited and nervous and happy and everything. I was also crying. This book was pure bliss ♥ It was an amazing time!

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Thank God, I was home alone when I started reading this book! I couldn't stop. Literally. I was so scared for Katniss! And after I finished it at midnight I started Mockingjay imediatelly. I didn't go to sleep at all. And I was also crying so hard at the end of it. Yeah, thank God, I was home alone for the weekend.

The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa
I remember sitting in the kitchen in London, drinking tee with milk and smoking like crazy. I remember also not even noticing anyone who came into the kitchen. I was totally in my world and thank God, everyone was smart enough not to bother me. I couldn't pay attention to anything except for the book. Ahh Ash

Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare
Aaa I was waiting for this book so long. It was evening when I recieved it. I was beyond happy! I think I was supposed to go out, it was Tuesday, I think, I cancelled. There was no was of going away from that book! I started reading. I think my phone rang some times in that night and the day after. I didn't respond. And also I had an exam in the next days. I didn't care. I ditched the exam. And hell, it was worth it!! This is one of the best books ever written

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout
There was absolutely no force in the world that could have pulled me away from this book. Literally. I was so into it. It was like drugs, I couldn't stop. I wouldn't stop for anything. Anything. At 9AM, when I finished it, I rememebered why I love reading so much. That an author can create such an amazing world that you get totally lost in it and completelly forget what and who you are. It's priceless. Completelly and utterly priceless

Hallowed by Cynthia Hand
Ha! There was no freaking way that I would have gone away from this book, after waiting 4 months to having it in my hands. No way. I stayed home and read. I was laughing and crying and it felt amazing.

Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout
I remember being 60 pages till the end when my phone rang. And I was like, um, ok. My friend was like "come here, we are drinking and it's so much fun!" at 1PM in the afternoon. And I was like "um, I can't I am studying :P Maybe in an hour?" and she was like "no, no come here". Ofcouse I couldn't. There was no way in the world, that I could leave this book 5 chapters before the end. I ditched her. And when I finished the book, I realised (asocial part of me aside) it was worth it!! So fucking worth it! This book was beyond perfect. It's made of pure magic

Ok, this is my top 10 Spring Fever :P But I can guarantee you, that when City of Lost Souls comes out, ha, there is no freaking way of getting me away from it! For Onyx as well ♥ I will be gone from the world for a while :) And I have a great feeling, it will be amazing

So, what's your Top 10 this week? :)
