When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring…. until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.
And then he opened his mouth.
Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don’t kill him first, that is.

From the moment I started reading this book, I became totally obsessed with it. Like seriously obsessed. I couldn't stop thinking about it. I read it in one sitting – no food, no sleep, lots of coffee ;) And then I re-read the best parts (there are lots of them) again and again. I lost the count ;)
So, if you're a young adult or adult reader, you'll love this book! I've been thinking about it a lot in the past 2 weeks, if I should write a review about it and what is the best way to describe why is this book so amazing.
If all YA books were like this, I would never need to read an adult Paranormal Romance again. BELIEVE ME! ;)
Because, holy hell, there is PASSION. And sexual tension. And our damn hot Daemon!! And Katy's will of not giving in and the damn great old sarcasm. It's priceless!!
And yet another thing. This book got me with the first chapter! Which is kind of rare. ;)
So, if you haven't read the book yet, I seriously dare you to do it ASAP! Because it's totally fucking worth it! And then come back here and we can discuss it till death!! Lol :P
PS. When you finish reading the book, go here on Jennifer's official blog and read Daemon's POV! It will blow you away ;)
