Help our blogger friend Faye!

Here is a lovely interview with our favourite Daydreamer Faye :) <3

What do you think makes you stand out from the rest?
Answering questions like this is not something that I am good at doing, because I have never been good about talking about myself, let alone bigging myself up. However, I think I stand out from the rest because I have a really bubbly personality, I’m dedicated and hard-working, and I’m always willing to go above and beyond, not just to help myself but in helping others too. I think that my need to help others is why this would be perfect for me because blogging is a unique way to help people.

Can you tell us why you decided to start A Daydreamer's Thoughts?
Approaching my final year at university I had many questions about what I wanted to go on and do when I graduated. Throughout the first two years there, I had started out with a definite knowledge of what I wanted to know but as time went on and I learnt more, I realised that there was so much more out there and that I wasn’t completely certain but I did know that I wanted to do something that involved writing. I had been blogging on tumblr for a long time but decided it was time to go a little further and with a lot of thought and coercion on the part of Brodie at Eleusinian Mysteries, I decided to start my own book and film blog, A Daydreamer’s Thoughts.

How much has blogging impacted your life?
Blogging has become such an immense part of my life. There isn’t a day that goes by when I do not think about it, I am always thinking of new ideas, exciting things to do and checking my blog-related e-mail is something I make sure to do a few times a day. But all of this time and effort that goes into it is definitely worth it because aside from constantly thinking about it, I have made some great new friends, found some amazing new books, have gotten back into reading all the time and have found so much love in the blogging community that has made me a happier person overall.

Now that you've made one video, do you think it's something you'll do again?
I think the answer to this would be a definite yes! I really enjoyed filming the video – even if it did take over 50 takes! It was fun – and frustrating – but the amount of positive responses I’ve had have filled my little heart to the brim and I’d just love to see if others would like anything else I have to say! Plus, I’ve always admired other vloggers so why not me?

You've had a lot of support throughout the campaign, why do you think that is?
In all honesty, my answer to this is “I DON’T KNOW!” haha. I have been so overwhelmed by all of the responses I’ve been getting and have been squealing way too much for an ordinary human being! But I think, I guess, maybe because they’re already followers on the blog and really like what I do and post but um... yeah, I really don’t know. I usually just sit there and deny all their positive comments because I’m all, “I don’t believe you!”. Ooops.
Did I mention that I LOVE every comment and view of my video? O-O

Is there anything else you’d like to say?
Aside from thanking Nea over and over again for hosting me, I want to say a thank you to you for reading this and I hope that it was interesting for you! And, I also want to take this moment to tell you a little something about a competition I am currently in the middle of for which I need YOUR help to win. The prize for the competition is a blogging job for Mira Ink, and for the final round I had to make a vlog convincing the company to hire me. Then I needed to run a social media campaign to spread it far and wide.

So if you have just a minute to spare, I would truly appreciate you taking the time to watch this video! If you have a little longer, like the video and wish to comment or pass it along, I’d be even more grateful! And on the 11th Dec one lucky commenter or sharer will win a Christmas Surprise!

All interactions are truly appreciated and I want to thank you all now for the wonderful support! If you would like to get to know me better, feel free to follow my blog, my twitter, add me on facebook or goodreads, or e-mail me!
